Bee Week
TX, 2009
It's getting warmer in Arizona and bees are back.
Thank bees for their hard work.
While I was looking for a trailer of this film to share, I found out that Canadian Animal Planet is showing this film on April 18 (8:00pm EST) and on April 19 (12:00am EST). I highly recommend this film to anyone except people with apiphobia(bee phobia). People in Canada are so lucky. We are stuck with shows like The Haunted and Fatal Attractions on Animal Planet here.

I saw a documentary film called The Last Beekeeper at SXSW two years ago. I knew declining honeybee population was becoming a problem, but I had no idea how serious it is until this film. Even in modern days, we heavily rely on bees to pollinate our plants and produce honey. What would happen to our food supply if honeybees kept dying?
